ETF outline with the US Protections and Trade Commission (SEC) on Nov. 16.
The update comes a couple of months after WisdomTree refiled its spot Bitcoin ETF application in June 2023, proposing a standard change to rundown and exchange portions of the WisdomTree Bitcoin Trust on the BZX Trade by the Chicago Board Choices Trade (CBOE).
The revised outline makes reference to that the WisdomTree Bitcoin Trust ETF will exchange under a ticker image BTCW, with Coinbase Guardianship Trust filling in as the overseer holding the trust's all's Bitcoin for its sake.
As per Bloomberg ETF expert James Seyffart, the refreshed Structure S-1 spot Bitcoin ETF recording by WisdomTree implies that the firm is as yet intending to send off an ETF and is examining the open door with the SEC.
"All guarantors were supposed to need to record one of these to send off their ETF sooner or later possibly. Simply a stage all the while. Nothing basic," Seyffart composed on X (previously Twitter).
Another Bloomberg ETF master, Eric Balchunas, saw that WisdomTree took "Adequately long" to correct its Structure S-1 Bitcoin ETF recording. "If it's not too much trouble, let me know the SEC isn't holding up till all S-1s are refreshed prior to giving a second round of remarks," he added.
